Who was Saint Augustine?
Saint Augustine, also known as Saint Augustine of Hippo, was a renowned fourth-century bishop and theologian. Born on November 13, 354, in Tagaste (modern-day Souk Ahras, Algeria), Augustine became one of the most influential figures in Christian philosophy and Western thought. Before his conversion to Christianity, Augustine explored various philosophies and led a hedonistic lifestyle.
